I’ve bunked out the evening’s entertainment as I needed time …
Time to catch up on some work and time for a little rest and time to write something for this blog

The schedule has been full on which can only mean that there is loads going on in Stockholm

Apparently I missing the chance to draw nudes. Hope they have the heating up full!
It’s very cold for those of us from more temperate climes!

The CASCAS journey has been incredible so far, so much information in such a short space of time. I particularly enjoyed the visit to subtopia yesterday
Today the group had more opportunity for debate and information sharing. More hours in the day would be good as a daily debrief would help us to absorb all the information. There’s lots of it and lots of questions raised from all the encounters and the group its self has a wealth of information to share.

Looking forward to seeing some shows tomorrow

INTENSE FIRST EVENING

It has been an intense introductory evening of meeting new people from 8 countries, in different positions, in different contexts, all working in circus and street arts. After presenting us to eachother, we got a presentation of the venue Södra Teatern. Then we met with the national federation for circus, variety and street arts Manegen. And now, after a great but late dinner I believe everybody is probably already sleeping. I know I will in something like 2 minutes. Cascas Sweden is now officially on the road.

CASCAS has arrived in Sweden!

YEI!

The CASCAS particpants have now successfully landed in a wintery Stockholm, it’s minus 14 degrees. (Well they landed, but they are quite confused at the airport, what I heard.) I hope the people from Spain and Greece brought their long johns. I’m just preparing our first meeting at Södra teatern tonight. I’m so looking forward to finally seeing the faces of the people that have so far been names on lists.
